Many of the small patients have previous illnesses such as heart defects, lung diseases, tuberculosis etc. and an operation may therefore be too risky

Strong together: 69 children start the operation days well prepared!

With concentrated teamwork, 69 children are cleared to head into the upcoming days of surgery. Preparation for this important step plays a crucial role in success. Parents and medical staff support the little patients unconditionally and strengthen their confidence in their own strength. The medical staff gives tips for aftercare and caring for the wound so that everything heals well in the end.
