Allia 125Little Alia came to us as a little toddler who wanted to sing.

But Alia's deformities were so severe including a wide cleft lip and palate that not only could she not sing, nor speak properly but found it very difficult to eat as the food would escape either her mouth or through her nose.

charlene postop07Charlene is undoubtedly Operation Restore Hope's most complicated surgical case. Born with a severe facial cleft, Charlene's parents had tried repeatedly to get treatment for their daughter. Although they were unable to afford such extensive surgery, they still searched, but no-one locally would even agree to take the case.

78-postop 125Even though Corazon’s parents actively sought out charity everywhere they could and presented Corazon to various missions, Corazon was never treated as she suffered from a heart condition which would make the surgery much more dangerous for Corazon. It is a cruel twist of fate that Corazon actually means heart.
